Cropley House is an ideal wedding venue located within Baulkham Hills, Sydney. The 1920s building holds its’ own unique charm yet still has the flexibility to fit in with your personal wishes and theming. Cropley House works as both a ceremony and reception venue with 6 rooms to select from. All the rooms offer their own charming touch, giving the option of a more intimate feel or a grander approach for any type of wedding. The combination of elegant chandeliers and wall length widows gives a delightful aesthetic, displaying that Cropley House has plenty to offer with highly qualified staff to make your big day flow with ease. Our Group Executive Chef Adam Birtles, is also appreciative to work with you in providing the perfect menu to accompany your day. From canapés on arrival, shared antipasto platters, gourmet three course meals or specific cultural cuisines, no detail is too little.

Questions & Answers

We have 2 function rooms on the Ground Floor – The Elizabeth and Victoria Rooms. These rooms are the same size (192 sqm) with a ceiling height of 4.3m. Each room can accommodate up to 160 guests seated with a dance floor and bridal table. For cocktail functions you can have up to 300 guests.

The Victoria Room has adjoining toilets and a large bridal room.

The Elizabeth Room has an adjoining bridal room and a disabled bathroom. Bathrooms for the guests are located on our mezzanine floor (stair or lift access).

We have 4 function rooms on the Top Floor. The Cropley Rooms (I & II) and View Rooms (I & II) are the perfect size for our more intimate functions. Generally, a ceremony and or pre function drinks are served in either Cropley Room I or View Room I, with seated lunch or dinner being served in Cropley Room II or View Room II. The ceiling height in these spaces is 3.8m high and the rooms are 96 sqm in size (excluding Cropley Room I which is 81sqm to allow for a foyer for the lift). The maximum capacity for these rooms is 70 guests seated with a dance floor or 150 guests for a cocktail function.

Yes, Cropley House has 142 onsite parking spaces available for your guests including 4 disabled parking spaces.

Yes, we can hold simultaneous functions. We stagger arrival times so guests don’t have any impact on each other.

Yes, our lunch package includes venue hire from 11.00am – 3.00pm on a Saturday, flexible with time on a Sunday.

The venue is licenced to close at 12.00am, please note all alcoholic beverage service with conclude at 11.30pm.

Wedding ceremonies can commence from 4.00pm. If you wish to commence earlier than 4.00pm, a minimum food & beverage spend will apply.

Yes, bookings can be made to hire the garden area at an additional cost. We include 30 white chairs, a signing table with 2 chairs and a guaranteed indoor room in the event of inclement weather. Cropley House can provide post ceremony catering or refreshments for your guests at an additional charge.

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible with a ramp from the disabled parking to the entrance, a lift for access to the mezzanine and top floors and special access bathrooms.

Yes, you are welcome to hire your own suppliers. We require a copy of their public liability insurance certificate in advance of the function.

Access is guaranteed from 1 ½ hours prior to your function start time. If an earlier bump in time can be accommodated, this will be confirmed 2 weeks prior the function date.

All items need to be removed at the end of the wedding so the suppliers are required to return on the night and pack down their items.

Our centrepiece is a hurricane vase with rock salt and a white pillar candle.

Yes, you are welcome to provide additional candles provided there are no naked flames. Candles or tealights must be enclosed in a vase or tealight holder to stop wax from dripping onto the tablecloths.

Cropley House can provide either rectangular or round tables for your event. Please note the number of guest you have can impact the best set up for your wedding reception. Please discuss this further with your wedding coordinator.

Our standard chairs are white tiffany chairs.

Yes of course; please send through a list of your guests name, table number and requirement and we liaise with Chef to ensure the guest/s receive a meal that is suitable.

We hold menu tastings every few months which are held in a group environment so you have the option to experience our hospitality before your big day. This is a paid event and we contact our clients closer their weddings with an invitation.

A: You are welcome to source your own band. Due to noise regulations they must work with the venue manager to ensure noise level are not exceeded. They will need to provide the venue with a copy of their public liability insurance.

Due to the historical nature of the venue, naked flames and fireworks are not permitted within Cropley House. You are welcome to arrange electric sparkler jets and dry ice through a specific supplier – please contact your wedding planner for these details.

Please note no confetti is permitted within the venue.
